so i started on the tulip and gingham socks yesterday. i’ll be damned if i can read a chart. i think what threw me, is the alien illusion scarf chart in the first stitch n bitch book is charted, but you read it from the bottom left.. so i immediately started reading the fair isle chart from the left. i wish it were more obivous how to start things.
with the fair isle hat, starting the chart didn’t matter much since it was in the round, and the rows made sense so i didn’t really need to see the chart; such is not the case with these fancy socks. i wonder if i’ll actually wear them? :)
