i’ve been working on a project, staring at the word ‘category’ for an hour or so, when it occurred to me that it didn’t look like a word anymore. i learned that this has a name, and it’s the opposite of déjà vu. neat!
You’ve found the legacy blog. It’s twenty-some years of writing, in roughly the state I left it. Spacer GIFs, old jokes, posts that did not age well; some of it is fine, some of it is a basement. I keep it online because the work was real, and because deleting old posts would feel like editing my own past.
