i never think our yard is that big, until i had to mow it last week for the first time in three years. it needs it again, but the mosquitos are so bad that it’s hard to imagine doing it without a complete, full-body bug suit.
we’re going to try setting up some mosquito traps, but i don’t have much faith that they’ll do the job.
i also have one last burdock to get rid of. it’s hiding behind the half-dead bush at the side of the driveway and i keep forgetting about it, mostly because of the mosquitos, but a little bit because of the bush.
there is also deadly nightshade climbing up my lilies, so i have to deal with that, too.
