we had a pretty good weekend! kurt was off on saturday, so we thought we’d go check out the local casino, ho-chunk. it was pretty boring, for me, because it’s chock full of slots and only a handful of video poker machines. kurt played blackjack, lost a bunch on craps, and then came out even. i, on the other hand, wasn’t so lucky. then we went to our favorite sushi restaurant whose last day of business was saturday. the owners are retiring and getting out of the food biz. :(
sunday was slow going. we went to the avenue for breakfast, after we were able to move around, then we played another marathon session of texas hold ’em at bob and amy’s. i came in 3rd, after mentally conceding cuz it had been 5 hours of cards. now it’s monday. and i’m at work. :/
