the city of madison attempts to keep our streets clean by enforcing parking restrictions on certain days and certain sides of the street between 8a and 11:30a. if your car is parked on the wrong side at the wrong time if/when the parking attendant rolls around, you’ll be ticketed. one year ago, the penalty was $10, which would increase to $14 if you waited more than two weeks to pay.
this year, the penalty has increased to an astonishing $30. so pay close attention.
