i feel like i’ve got the knitting bug back again. i was sure i had lost it over the summer. with no desire to knit, no inspiration for stash-busting, and the desire to be outside sure put a damper in my knitspirits. well, yesterday i ordered yarn, and got my two new books from amazon; stitch n bitch nation and last-minute knitted gifts. there are some cutie projects in both of these books. i’m excited about the instructions that debbie stoller added to the front of her book because i have a sweater that’s falling to pieces and i’d like to “reproduce” it, but since it’s machine made i’ll have to substitute everything from yarn to needle to size to result. i’m excited to do it. maybe mid-winter, after i get back into the knitswing.
