well, that lasted all of 24 hours.
to be honest, what made me reactivate my account was that a friend had vaguebooked on tuesday to keep another friend in our hearts. i had responded with, “what happened? i just saw him outside the echo this summer.” where he was working, and i wanted to get the response. unfortunately, he took his life recently.
dennis worked at mickey’s a couple summers ago; i think it was his first year at the uw. he was always very sweaty, so matt nicknamed him big sweaty d. that was mostly the last i saw of him until i recognized him at the echo while having lunch with josh this summer. apparently, he worked there, genna’s, hop cat, and any number of other places. it is cliche to say that he always seemed like he was happy, but he really always did.
so, i’ll pass the word along to keep him in our hearts.
