more radio silence!

everything’s been going fine, nothing out of the ordinary to report. except that i got a kindle and have actually been reading! my first book is the hobbit; i’m about halfway through. then, i bought finnegan’s wake, one flew over the cuckoo’s nest, and 1984.

work is going well. i got a nice compliment from a client last week, which will keep my spirits high for a while. a huge project is launching next monday, it’ll be nice to get that up and out there. i’ve been working on it almost solely since the beginning of december.

winter biking is going well. we used union cab this weekend to get around because it was so cold, but the ride in this morning was tolerable at 11° (or feels-like at 2°). this week is supposed to get pretty chilly. i look forward to the spring temperatures, and putting my regular tires back on. the studded tires have proven to be excellent as far as traction and not letting sand through to pop my innertubes, but they provide a lot of friction and it’s a workout just to peddle.

that’s it for now.

after nine months of working at the new place, i’m having dreams with these people instead of the other people.

last night, i dreamed i was tackled by a tiny yellow cow, a hairy purple/red fuzzy creature, a guinea pig, and something that was all white but i can’t remember now.

additionally, i was in some church where everyone had ipads and iphones and we were all playing clash of clans, but the deal was that you had to team up with people and pass your ipad around. but, someone lost mine and didn’t seem very regretful about it.

then, a current coworker, with whom i don’t really work because he’s in portland, showed me how to steal people’s army if they were on the same network as my phone, using an application called WIX. i remember being very excited that i took millions of little army dudes from people.

then i woke up.
